Hand-carved, tooled, and painted on 11" x 14" premium Hermann Oak leather, this one-of-a-kind leather piece pays tribute to the most humurous parts of a horseshoer's job. Featured on the cover of the February 2024 edition of the American Farrier's Journal. Before carving this piece into leather, I first made a pencil sketch based off the scene I witnessed while trimming horses in Florida (pictured).
14.5" x 17.5" framed. The first frame pictured (thumbnail photo) is the current frame.
